Mahasamund. In line with the directives of the Chhattisgarh Government and under the supervision of District Collector Mr. Vinay Kumar Langeh, a series of mobile registration and benefit camps will be organized across the district from November 4 to 17, 2025.
These camps are aimed at helping workers from both the organized and unorganized sectors renew their registrations and access the benefits of various state and central welfare schemes.
Purpose of the Initiative
The initiative seeks to make government benefits more accessible to rural workers by bringing registration and verification services directly to their villages. This step will ensure that no eligible worker is left out of welfare programs due to lack of awareness or logistical barriers.
Documents Required for Registration
According to the District Labour Officer, workers attending the camps must bring the following documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- Bank Passbook
- Mobile Number
- Income Certificate (for unorganized sector workers only)
The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, along with the Sarpanch and Secretary of each Gram Panchayat, has been instructed to make announcements to inform workers about the schedule and benefits of these camps.
