Mahasamund. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Industrial and Trade Complex in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar on November 1, 2025, on Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day.
In view of the Prime Minister’s arrival, the administration has issued special instructions to maintain security and law and order. In the public interest, using the powers granted under Section 24 (1) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915, an order has been issued to keep liquor shops located along the district’s highways closed during the prescribed hours.
In which the sale of liquor will be prohibited in the district’s composite country liquor shop Ghodari, composite country liquor shop Tumgaon, composite foreign liquor shop Patewa-Jogidipa, country/foreign liquor shop Jhalap, country/foreign liquor shop Pithora and country/foreign liquor shop Saraipali from 5 pm to 7 pm on November 1, 2025. The Excise Department has instructed the concerned shop operators to ensure strict compliance of the order.
