The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the online registration process for JEE Main Session 1. As per the NTA’s latest notification, the application window opened on October 31, 2025, and will remain open until November 27, 2025, 9:00 PM.

How to Register for JEE Main 2026 Session 1
The NTA has made the registration process completely online. Candidates can apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the registration link for “JEE Main Session 1 – 2026”.
- Enter the required details such as name, contact number, and email ID to create a login.
- Fill in educational and personal details as per your academic documents.
- Upload required documents including photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee online through debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main Session 1 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Total Questions: 75 (25 questions per subject)
- Type of Questions: Objective (Multiple Choice and Numerical)
- Mode of Examination: Online (CBT)
- Exam Duration: 3 hours
- Shifts:
- Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
