The grand celebration was attended by Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. They were joined by ministers and officials, including Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary, and several others. The Sendh Reservoir echoed with cheers of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” as the tricolor flag unfurled across the sky.

During the show, Group Captain Ajay Dasharathi, leader of the Surya Kiran team, extended greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh from the skies, celebrating the state’s silver jubilee. For nearly an hour, the nine Hawk Mk-132 aircraft of the Surya Kiran team painted the skies with dazzling patterns—heart, diamond, loop, grover, dawn light, and combat Tejas formations—leaving trails of the Indian tricolor in their wake. The audience, captivated by the display, applauded each maneuver with chants of “Jai Hind.”

Under Wing Commander A.V. Under Singh’s direction, the One-F-9 and One-F-8 helicopter units performed daring rescue and combat operations using V-17 and V-5 helicopters. Helicopters named ‘Adidev’ showcased rappelling and sky operations at altitudes as low as 15 meters, as Garud Commandos descended using ropes—a thrilling demonstration of their training for combat and disaster rescue missions.

The highlight of the air show was the heart-shaped formation created by the fighter jets to commemorate Chhattisgarh’s 25th Foundation Day. The pilots then formed a DNA-like tricolor structure, symbolizing unity and devotion to the nation. Their 360° inverted flight maneuvers and *‘Y’ formation—dedicated to Tejas and the youth—*earned thunderous applause from the spectators.
