Unity Day 2025 : New Delhi. India today marked the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, with grand celebrations across the nation. Accompanied by senior officials, PM Modi offered flowers at the statue’s base to honor the great leader who played a pivotal role in uniting India after independence.
Since 2014, when Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, October 31 has been celebrated as National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), dedicated to commemorating Patel’s unmatched contribution to national integration.
Grand Parade and Cultural Celebration
