Raipur. On the occasion of National Unity Day (Ekta Diwas), Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid a heartfelt tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by garlanding his statue at Devendra Nagar in Raipur. Remembering the Iron Man of India, the Chief Minister said that Sardar Patel was not only a freedom fighter but also the architect of a united India, whose courage and leadership helped integrate the nation after independence.

As part of the celebrations, Chief Minister Sai joined hundreds of school children, public representatives, and citizens in the “Unity Run” from Shastri Chowk to Sharda Chowk in Raipur. The marathon carried the inspiring message of “One India, Best India,” echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for national integration.
